I am currently sitting in my friend's apartment in Paris and I decided today seemed like a good day to start a blog, so here we go! It is 3 sleeps until Christmas and although I am spending it away from my family I am incredibly excited to experience another culture. I am in France on a holiday, hoping to improve my French which I guess I should say is not exactly happening (my friend speaks fluent English and we find it is quicker and easier to speak in English), but I don't mind because I am having the best time experiencing this insane city! My favourite spot to visit is Montmartre. The area is so nice and from the steps of the church there is a breathtaking view of the entire city. Where are you most happy in the world?
I have been very lucky in my life so far. I have been on some incredible adventures to many different countries and I believe that these experiences have opened my mind to the wonderful world which we live in. But I would have to say out of all the places I have been, France is my favourite. The people may not be the kindest, the streets may not be the cleanest, but it is indescribably beautiful. I am hungry so I shall end this here to begin my search for a boulangerie which is open at 3am to satisfy my cravings for a pain aux raisins. Sorry if this is a lame-ass blog post but it has been fun xx
